Cadillac's new concept car explores the future of zero-emission performance cars in tribute to the 20th anniversary of the V Series

Cadillac debuts its latest concept vehicle, Opulent Velocity, presenting the world with a high-performance, pure electric look pointing straight into the future. The arrival of this concept car not only praises the glorious achievements of Cadillac and its V series high-performance sub-brands in the past and present, but also indicates the endless imagination of future super performance models.

The name "Opulent Velocity" combines two of the hallmarks inherent in the Cadillac brand -- luxury and ultra-ulent performance. The design of the concept car is intended to highlight Cadillac's luxury design with The Times and reshape the peak performance driving experience.

The newest addition to Cadillac's V Series of high-performance subbrands, the 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing debuted in January. Twenty years ago, in March 2004, the V Series was officially launched and raced for the first time at Sebring International Raceway, winning the SCCA Pro World Challenge GT race with CTS-V.R.
