Cadillac debuts its latest concept vehicle, Opulent Velocity, presenting the world with a high-performance, pure electric look pointing straight into the future. The arrival of this concept car not only praises the glorious achievements of Cadillac and its V series high-performance sub-brands in the past and present, but also indicates the endless imagination of future super performance models.

The name "Opulent Velocity" combines two of the hallmarks inherent in the Cadillac brand -- luxury and ultra-ulent performance. The design of the concept car is intended to highlight Cadillac's luxury design with The Times and reshape the peak performance driving experience.

"Opulent Velocity is committed to continuing Cadillac's leadership in performance luxury with a zero-emission design deduction." "We'll be sharing more information about this later this year, so stay tuned," said Bryan Nesbitt, Cadillac's executive director of global design.

For 20 years, whether on the track or on the road, V Series products have been committed to bringing cutting-edge American technology, pioneering technology and exciting performance experiences to users. The V Series is the purest way to show the passion that comes from the soul of the Cadillac brand.

The newest addition to Cadillac's V Series of high-performance subbrands, the 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing debuted in January. Both models combine design with meaning, while delivering the extraordinary power, craftsmanship and precise driving that V-Series fans have been waiting for both on and off the track.

Cadillac celebrates the 20th anniversary of the V Series at the Mobil 1-Sebring 12 Hours.

Twenty years ago, in March 2004, the V Series was officially launched and raced for the first time at Sebring International Raceway, winning the SCCA Pro World Challenge GT race with CTS-V.R.

"From the award-winning Cadillac racing program to the road production car, the V Series opens a series of technology transfers from track to road." Brandon Vivian, Cadillac's Executive chief engineer, said: "The enthusiasm of V-Series fans over the past 20 years is a testament to the success of this technology heritage, which has brought truly extraordinary performance to our products.

Motorsport provides Cadillac with an excellent platform for technological advancement and innovation, allowing it to simultaneously transfer technology and inspiration from the field of racing to production vehicles.
